Monday, May 27, 2013 : Boston

This morning, the weather is really good, so we take the opportunity to visit Boston. To avoid recurring parking issues, we use the subway, locally known as "The T".

USS Constitution

We visit the USS Constitution. This frigate, built in 1797 and restored several times, is still officially a military ship, though she has not escorted anything for a while.

We then board our whale-hunting (or, rather, photographing) cruise. We see only three whales, but with several times each, the result is not bad. It may seem frustrating to spend 10 minutes photographing whales we took 2 hours to find,  but the weather is still superb, we enjoyed the open air, nothing to be sorry about.

We finish the day with a long stroll through Historical Boston and the tony neighborhood of Beacon Hill. After dinner in downtown Boston, we take the T again, back to the hotel.

Quite a nice day, indeed.
