Tuesday, September 8, 2015 : Antelope Canyon, from Page to Grand Canyon

Quite stubborn, we go back to Horseshoe Bend for more pictures. Of course, it is no longer sunset time, but who cares ? It's still as beautiful. I'll show you the pictures after we return to Europe, when I have time to write a longer article.

Then we visit Antelope Canyon. It is a very narrow canyon, where the rays of light between the rocks  (hence its name of slot canyon) help create unexpected reflections. Obviously, it is a heaven for photographers, and this only image does not even begin to describe this magical place.

Only one regret : the visit pushed by Navajo guides happens at a steady pace. We would have enjoyed a little more time.

Then we hit the road toward Grand Canyon. Like 5 years ago, we pass along the Vermilion Cliffs but this time, with the help of bright weather, they show their appropriate colors.

We make it to Grand Canyon at North Rim, much less crowded by tourists than South Rim. After setting us up in a genuine log cabin, we go out again for some pictures. Marie does a few beautiful sunset pictures.

We don't know yet, but we are going to be cut off the modern world for 2 full days : no Wi-Fi, no internet, no phones.
