We spend all the day at Grand Canyon, which largely deserves it. It is my third visit, Marie's second, and we still find it as beautiful as ever.

Rather than spend the whole day in a mule ride to get down a small part of the canyon, we prefer to walk a few not too long trails, to enjoy various views of the Canyon. We even discover a small spring under a cliff.

It is only at the moment Marie adds up the distances at the end of the day that she realizes how tired she is : we have walked more than 6 miles.

At the end of the day, we are back at Grand Canyon Lodge in time for sunset. This red cliff facing our lodge is absolutely gorgeous, in the rays of the declining sun. There are worse places to wrap up a day.
